Education and Professional Development with Strata Community Association

Strata Community Association is the peak industry body in Australia and New Zealand for strata advocacy and education and sets high standards for best practices in education, training, and professional development. The objective of SCA’s education program is to assist strata professionals in continuously advancing their careers and developing workforce competencies by creating and enhancing educational opportunities. The program is aimed at all professionals in the industry including strata managers, committees, lot owners, service members and all other industry stakeholders.

Learning and obtaining CPD points online has considerably increased due to the restrictions from the COVID-19 pandemic. SCA Education has developed a new Educational Platform to assist the strata industry by providing exclusive online courses, online events, webinars, and best practice guides.

The SCA Education Platform consists of two sections.

1. Individuals: all SCA Members are able to login using their SCA membership credentials and can purchase and complete any product on the platform. If CPD points are awarded through the completion of a product, those points will automatically be transferred to the member’s IMIS profile. All certificates and invoices associated with a product are automatically emailed to the member and a copy is retained in the Educational Platform ‘Members Area’ for future reference (if required).

2. Corporate CPD: SCA Member Companies can bulk purchase products and assign these products to their employees. The employee is then able to access the product through the Individuals area.

Products in both Individual and Corporate CPD areas can be purchased via online methods such as credit card or by invoicing.

The SCA Education team in each state and National Education Manager are available to provide further information and guide you through the process.
